THK Linear Rails
THK linear rails have a higher rated load than linear bearings and can withstand a certain amount of torque, enabling high-precision linear motion under high load conditions.
THK linear rails are divided into square ball linear railss, double-axis core roller linear rails, and single-
axis linear rails.
The function of the THK linear motion rail is to support and guide the moving parts to make a
reciprocating linear motion in a given direction. Depending on the nature of the friction, THK linear
motion guides can be classified into THK sliding friction rails, THK rolling friction rails, THK elastic friction
rails, and THK fluid friction rails. Linear bearings are mainly used in automation machinery, such as

performance linear rails are used, if they are used improperly, the expected performance will not be
achieved, and the linear rails will be easily damaged. Therefore, the following matters should be noted
when using THK linear rails:
1). Prevent corrosion:
When taking the THK linear rail directly, remove the sweat from your hands and apply high-quality
mineral oil before handling. Pay special attention to rust prevention during the rainy season and summer.
2)Keep the environment clean:
Keeping the THK linear rail and its surroundings clean. Even if the smiling dust that is invisible to the
naked eye enters the guide rail, it will increase the wear, vibration and noise of the guide rail.
3)Installation should be careful:
THK linear rails should be carefully and carefully used during installation. Strong stamping is not
allowed. It is not allowed to directly hit the guide rails with a hammer. It is not allowed to transmit
pressure through the rolling elements.
4)The installation tool should be suitable:
THK linear rails use special tools with appropriate and accurate installation tools, and try to avoid the
use of cloth and short fibers.
5)Cleaning the rail:
The guide rail and the linear shaft are one of the core components of the equipment, and its function is
to guide and support. In order to ensure the machine has high machining accuracy, the guide rail and
straight line are required to have high guiding precision and good motion stability. During the operation
of the equipment, due to the large amount of corrosive dust and smoke generated during processing, the
smoke and dust are deposited on the surface of the guide rail and the linear shaft for a long time, which
has a great influence on the processing precision of the equipment. An etch point is formed on the
surface of the linear axis of the guide rail to shorten the service life of the device. In order to make the
machine work stably and ensure the quality of the products, it is necessary to carefully carry out the daily
maintenance of the guide rails and linear axes.
NOTE: Please prepare the cleaning rails - dry cotton cloth, lubricating oil.
