What are the repair cases for THK linear guides?


           The close part of the THK linear guides, in addition to the improper operation of our operators,

 causes inevitable malfunctions, but it does not rule out that external factors or human factors will

 cause some faults. What is the type of THK rail maintenance? Explain the THK linear guide fault repair

 case.

 

           (1) Maintenance motor overheat alarm:


            Fault phenomenon: x-axis motor overheat alarm

 

            Analysis and processing: Motor overheat alarm, there are many reasons, in addition to the

 servo unit itself, the cutting parameters may be unreasonable, it may also be a problem in the

 transmission chain. The cause of the machine failure is that the gap between the linear guide insert

 and the guide rail is too small and the adjustment is too tight. Loosen the inserting strip anti-loose

 screw, adjust the insertion bolt to make the moving parts move flexibly, ensure that the 0.03mm plug

 gauge can not be inserted, and then lock the anti-loose screw to eliminate the fault.

 

           (2) The maintenance of mechanical vibration faults in travel terminals is obvious:


           Fault phenomenon: When the machining center is running, when the x-axis displacement of

 the worktable approaches the mobile terminal, obvious mechanical vibration failure occurs. When the

fault occurs, the system does not alarm.

 

           Analysis and processing: The system does not alarm when the fault occurs, but the fault is

 obvious. Therefore, the fault location should be determined by the exchange method on one side of

 the x-axis servo motor and the screw drive chain. In order to distinguish the motor fault, the flexible

 coupling between the motor and the ball screw can be disassembled and the motor can be checked

 separately. The test results show that there is no vibration when the motor is running, and the fault

 location is obviously in the mechanical transmission part. Remove the elastic coupling and use the

 wrench to turn the ball screw to check the handle. Through the hand inspection, it is found that the

 sensing resistance increases significantly when the x-axis displacement of the table is close to the

 travel terminal. The workbench inspection was removed and it was found that the ball screw was not

 parallel to the guide rail, causing vibration during mechanical rotation. Carefully repaired, adjusted,

 reinstalled, and trouble-shooted.
